11th KK City Treasure Hunt & Staff Party

Last week, while I was busy in the office rummaging through work, I overheard my colleague Lamri saying about a treasure hunt competition around city. I went straight to him and asked for more details, asked some friends whether they'd like to participate, and voila! we formed two groups.

Arranging the teams were a little tricky, because we found out about the competition on Friday, 19th April and the closing date was the following Monday, 22nd April. So imagine the back and forth we had to go through trying to squeeze in right before the closing date.

The night before the competition we had a briefing that basically told us the questions are either impossible or it takes some loony to figure them out. Thaaaatttttt didn't stop us. Some of us even managed to go to some parties, while some went straight back home to have an early night.

My awesome team;

Mira, Melissa & Safuan (our trustee driver)
The Hunt basically consists of three legs;

1) Leg 1 - Passport
In order for you to move on to your next Legs and further challenges (but of course) you need to complete the first leg. This was good for us because we still had ample of time before the window closes.

Leg 2) - Challenges & Walk Hunt
This was... by far the most challenging for us because we had to strategise a way to avoid not losing any time on any specific walk hunts or challenges. Most of the challenges were alright, like "Tarik Daun Pinang" & "Main Lereng". I think they're traditional outdoor games. We even had to create the traditional wakid. But thanks to a very strict time of about 3 hours, we had to literally swift through some walk hunt and create a strong wakid as fast as we could.

Leg 3) Tulips
Sorry, did I say the second Leg was challenging? I meant the third! The stress of jam while having to think laterally to answer all these questions, were the perfect combination of real stress. But thankfully, I have the best team in the world, and I really wouldn't mind going through all that with them all over again :)

We didn't win any placing, like most of my friends, but  we won a hamper! And a shirt? And a car full of jokes. Check out the name of our team...... there's a story to it. One of the guy who were giving lectures during the briefing violently repeated "Who's Know?" at the end of his sentences, and boy did we had a laugh thanks to that. He was trying to say who knows....

By the end of it all, we were so exhausted all we wanted was some good ol' rest... and some drinks. By the sunset. Perfect :)

The Friday night before the treasure hunt I had my staff party, and I must say I am in love :) I am in love with my colleagues; I have never met a collective bunch of spontaneous, cool people who are up with doing anything... than these people. We had a rock-n-roll themed night, and everyone dressed up!

Not just that, the performances were volunteers from all walks of departments, finance, the head of departments, kitchen and housekeeping. Some sang, some screamed and some even acted, it was really funny. I was really fascinated by my colleagues then :')

I know I'm not quite good at putting all these #OOTD. But this shot is worth a shot. I finally used my feather extension I got in Sydney when I was there with Yuen :D

Okaylah that's about it.

Love,
