I need a good book & meet new people

Listening to - uh, Lite FM (the awesomest shit)

I went to Singapore during the Labour Day weekend and it was really, really good. It was a good break from all things crazy that were happening in my life. Be it be work, other life decisions, it was a good disconnect from everything else.

Stayed with Audrey during the 3 nights, 2 days break and thank you Sweetie, you were a great host taking care of me and Daren. I wouldn't want to stay in any classy random hotel, rather do it all with you, including the late night, early morning works you and I did, or the exorcism session you and I went through. I really couldn't have asked for more. And it was good catching up with Chandni as well, who's in a good place as a producer now in Singapore, everyone's... working and is going through all kinds of crazy now :)

My favourite night was when Audrey's awesome boss Erwin brought us to 'Long Beach' Singapore for crabs, OMG - it was epic. The crabs were massive and we had two types, black pepper and chilli. Even Daren (who's allergic to seafood) went nuts. Now, I wish I have photos of those crabs. I think I can show once Auds uploaded them.

The other two things I loved;

#1 - Barossa's own brewed beer + hang out with Auds, Chand and DarenBaby + to supposedly catch the sunset we ended up talking so much and forgot about it

#2 - Clark Quay, ice-cream bread moments

Now that was a good 3 days, 2 nights, something all of us could use every now and then. I am always in a mission to re-evaluate life, in anything I do. Make sure I pass all the usual judgements, whether these are the things I want, who are these for, also the things that keep me grounded, sane. You know.

Now, I need a good book. A really good book that could help me sleep well at night, giving me more things to think about kinda thing. It helps me make informed decisions, following my heart, my way.

Secondly, I need to go out there and meet new people. Interesting new people, 'cause this always ALWAYS give me perspective in life. Meeting new people allows you to have great discussions in anything! It's so refreshing and it helps open your eyes on other things outside there a little bit, it's really good for the soul.

Okay till then, to another crazy week in work! :)

Love & peace,
Jacqueline Rowena @ Jacqkie.
