Sunday & Ikea

It's SUNDAY! :)

The ladies and I are going to Ikea for new light bulbs and more candles! :) Pretty happy! 'Cause Ikea reminds of family and it always makes me all smiley!

Hey, it rhymes! Okay, before I kill someone with this jovial mood, I'd just like to say enjoy your Sunday and spend it with your loved ones. Or your loved things. I know the other side of the world (a.k.a home) the doctor works only half-day for most of his weekends, so I assume he's already with his PS3 by now...yup. now.

Mum and Jessy (maybe abang too) will be watching UP today. Ah, envy!

I know being a University student, Sunday doesn't really have its biggest impact on me, but I think it sure will when I start working. Gah. Which is like, next year.

Before I proceed to my write up on Pulau Sapi, let me do the duty to carefully explain to you why there are so many people talking about so many islands at the mention of the word, Sabah. Reason why I'm doing so is because whenever people visit KK City, they have very limited time in exploring most of the natural gorgeous attractions, and sometimes ended up just moving around KK City. Pulau Mantanani // Mantanani Island

I started off my 10 day break with a day trip to Mantanani. I wanted to visit Mantanani for THE LONGEST TIME, but couldn’t get around doing so all these while, either I haven’t saved up enough or basically, just haven’t got the weekends to spare it with.   Some folks call it the mermaid island because of the dugong sightings underwater – which is seriously magical. Some folks even say you could catch a glimpse of dolphins. They’ve had photos with it, but I personally have never seen them before.  Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to share with you why this trip was important.    If you see the map above, I’ve yellow squared Mantanani Island in comparison to the journey from Kota Kinabalu. One Night at Manukan Island at Sutera Sanctuary Lodge

We were supposed to go somewhere for Jessy's birthday, I wasn't quite sure how we decided on the island, but that was a pretty sweet decision. By day, the island was brimming with tourists and families, but by evening as the sun sets colouring the sky, it becomes a quiet isolation and absolutely stunning to enjoy an evening walk by. If you ever had the chance to stay overnight in a small island, please try it. We stayed at Sutera Sanctuary Lodges, cost us about RM 500nett for three of us. We woke up slightly earlier around 9am to enjoy the beach and swim when no one was there yet. Well Jessy did the swimming. I had a wedding to keep my tan lines even the week after so I kinda hid from the sun 😌 The unit though, almost chalet like was quite huge!
