Support Groups

It has been a challenging couple of weeks. Too many decision makings, too many sudden changes, I am trying to keep myself afloat. Tonight I went to the beach to clear my head a little. It has been forever since I'm out on the road by myself. 

Observation tells me that people live for others. I'm not saying it in a very suicidal manner, I meant in a way that people actually work harder or do more things because of or for the people they love and by that they're then 'living'. The people around me that night was filled with so much love. They're around their best friends, families, lovers :) 

Tonight I learn that our support groups are the most important and most vital thing one could ever ask for. The belief that there are people who care so much for you, and there are people who put faith in you - is a recognition of your being in life. 
Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.  - Mother Teresa 
If support groups are difficult to find, look for one. There are some people out there who share the same values and beliefs as you do. Doesn't have to be in a form of a romantic relationship, it can be in groups of people that share the same sports, ideas, or shared communities.

Before I proceed to my write up on Pulau Sapi, let me do the duty to carefully explain to you why there are so many people talking about so many islands at the mention of the word, Sabah. Pulau Mantanani // Mantanani Island

I started off my 10 day break with a day trip to Mantanani. I wanted to visit Mantanani for THE LONGEST TIME, but couldn’t get around doing so all these while, either I haven’t saved up enough or basically, just haven’t got the weekends to spare it with.   Some folks call it the mermaid island because of the dugong sightings underwater – which is seriously magical. Some folks even say you could catch a glimpse of dolphins. A year older in pandemic

For a brief second, I forgot how young I am.  I think that's what life does to you, subconsciously, these things don't matter anymore. So long as you're up and awake in the morning with one or two things in tow for the day - life is okay. And okay is honestly, good enough.  But this year, unlike the year before and the other years before it - came forcefully. At least in my lifetime. January jolted, February fazed but it was March that made everyone remember this truly iconic moment in our life. It made most of the world turn into a standstill. I had just came back from a 10 days trip to Melbourne + Adelaide Australia, and grazed many airports, many international airports in fact - and arrived home safely only to face the music my workplace or nation was facing.  Every month became more uncertain than the one before.
